The West African Experience

Senegal, located on the West Coast of Africa, is a beautiful country with a rich history and diverse culture

The gracious hospitality of the Senegalese people is legendary. You will meet people from a variety of ethic groups including the Wolof, Fulani, Serer, Tokola, Diola and Mandinka. The national language is Wolof, with French as the official European language.

Attendees will stay in Abene, a beachside enclave of artists and visitors from all over the world. Abene is located in the Casamance region of Southern Senegal.

Accommodations will be at Hotel Djembe Kan where you can experience the colorful West African lifestyle

The local cuisine contains a variety of fish, vegetables and meat dishes over rice with a variety of delectable sauces. We will try to accommodate any food requirements.
